This is even more insulting when you consider how many younger Jews use the Holocaust as a catch-all excuse for criticisms of Israel. But they can't take care of the survivors?

And yes, I know perfectly well that this goes both ways, plenty of Arab countries who criticize Israeli treatment of Palestineans treat them worse. Nobody has a monopoly on self-serving hypocracy.
